Mehmet Şenol Şişli

Born on April, 10th 1971 in İstanbul, Mehmet Şenol Şişli is a poet, author, musician, foley artist,
and painter.

He studied Industrial Product Design at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts Academy. Known as the founding
member, bass guitarist, and songwriter of the famous Turkish rock band Kargo, M.Ş.Ş has
recorded fourteen albums with the band and also three solo albums.

As an author, he has seven published books, including four poetry collections, a radio play, and
non fiction. His writings and poetry have been published in various magazines.

After working for publishing houses, he established his own publishing company, “Oyun
Yayınevi” (Game Publishing). In the 90s, the artist worked as a radio host at Günaydın Fm and
Kent Fm, and concurrently, he contributed to over twenty films as a foley artist, creating natural
sound effects. In this website, we bring together the multi-diciplinary artist’s various works from
various periods.
